Message: How Do I Stop Clit Stimulation?

Jenny32: I have been doing anal only with my boyfriend for the past couple years and I found switching from vaginal to anal to be easy, it feels better and it turns us on more and I love that he can cum in me every day and I don’t have to be on birth control. It’s been wonderful! But I admit I am still really reliant on my clitoris and my boyfriend has told me that he’d like it if I could stop rubbing myself and be totally anal only. I’d like that too, but I am not sure how to do it because it is a lot harder for me to stop. Any advice?

I’m really glad to hear that you’ve been having a great time since going anal only, and I hope that you continue to enjoy it long term. It sounds like the perfect time to give up clit stimulation and commit to pure anal only going forward, which will further strengthen and deepen your commitment to the anal only lifestyle.

First, remember that it’s a process and failure is often part of any process of learning or mastering something. If you go back to clit stimulation at some point, don’t give up, just start again with not using it.

Establishing a challenge to go a week without clit stimulation can be a good way to start, and ease into it without worrying longer term just yet. Once you make it a week, try extending it another week, then to a full month, and just keep going from there.

If you end up giving in to clit stimulation, try setting your next challenge to be longer than your previous success and keep building on your past experiences from there! Before you know it, you’ll be clit free for good.

You might also try numbing creams like Orajel on your clit, which temporarily remove sensation and can be applied before sex to aid in giving up touching yourself. Also check out the page on our Guide about clitoral denial, which covers this topic in more detail!

Good luck! I’m sure you can do this!

It sounds like one of those things again that once you’ve been doing it for a while then it doesn’t seem as hard as you think, just like anal only. It helps that it’s what they both want and the boyfriend is going to be supportive as it’ll be very exciting for him too.
