Women’s Anal Sex More Common
A brief article on woman and anal sex.
A quote from the text:
As of the 1990s, only about one-quarter to one-third of young women and men in the U.S. had tried anal sex at least once. Less than 20 years later, my research team’s 2009 National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior found that as many as 40-45 percent of women and men in some age groups had tried anal sex. With its rising prevalence, I felt it was important to devote a chapter of my first book, “Because It Feels Good,” to anal health and pleasure
The evidence is building up. Source after source, study after study all show that anal sex is steadily becoming a normal, accepted and everyday part of women’s sex lives.
I am a 19-year-old woman and a sophomore in college. A recent survey of about 900 women here on campus found that 56% have had anal sex. I am among them. Not wanting to risk pregnancy, my boyfriend and I first tried anal last September. He has an 11-inch penis when erect and I am petite at 5’1” and 102 lbs. He uses saliva as lube and he uses his fingers and thumb to rub my clit while his penis enters my anus, stretches my sphincter muscles, pushes through my rectum, and penetrates part of my sigmoid colon. Rubbing my clit gives me enough pleasure to relax my asshole. The stretching of my sphincter muscles is always painfully wide, but I have come to accept that pain as a necessary and temporary sacrifice in order to maximize his pleasure. He loves to saw his penis back and forth, reaming out my rectum, and each time the tip of his penis pokes into my sigmoid colon, it reminds me that I am submissive by nature, and that submitting to his total control for his pleasure brings me personal satisfaction.
More than 50% is a pretty good statistic, but I think we should be working to get that number to 100%, and not just “have had” but “actively have”!
I encourage wearing a butt plug with a thick neck regularly when not having sex to help keep your anal muscles stretched and relaxed open, which will help with relaxation both prior to and during sex and require less warmup on the spot. Anal doesn’t have to hurt, and can be just intensely pleasureful with the proper warmup, so if you’re committed to the anal only lifestyle, it can be worth taking the next step with long-term plug wear so that your asshole can always be at the ready for sex with him.
